Rental Procedures
The rental period is one week/seven nights however shorter says are available upon request and rates are therefore calculated on a nightly basis. A 10% Government Tax is added to the villa rental amounts and an 8% Administrative Fee is added to a guest's total bill. Please note that rates are subject to change without notice and special rates apply over the Christmas and New Year festive period. You can be flexible as to the days of the week for arrival or departure, depending, of course, on the availability of the villa.
Villa rates are quoted in US Dollars and are on European Plan. The tariff includes;
• Airport welcome by Mustique staff and transfers to your specific villa
• A minimum of three (3) household staff: cook, maid, gardener
• Complimentary use of one vehicle
• Laundry and Ironing Services
• Six floodlight tennis courts (complimentary)
• Fitness Trail
• Managing Director's weekly Cocktail Party on Tuesday evenings in the Great Room of the Cotton House
• Transfer returns to the airport upon departure
Deposits
Reservations must be accompanied at the time of booking by a 20% deposit. However, a reservation cannot be confirmed until 8 months prior to the date of arrival, at which time the 20% deposit becomes non-refundable. A further payment of 40% is required 6 months prior to the date of arrival and is non-refundable. The remaining balance of 40% is due 3 months prior to the date of arrival and is non-refundable.
GUESTS ARE THEREFORE ADVISED TO PURCHASE TRAVEL INSURANCE.
To avoid delays, EXCHANGE RATE FLUCTUATIONS AND BANK CHARGES, it is requested that payments be made by bank telegraphic transfer to: Mustique Company Ltd. Banking details can be provided by the Villa Rentals department or one of our approved suppliers.
However, if a certified cheque or cashier's cheque is more convenient, either can be mailed to the Company at its Mustique mailing address. Consult the post office for correct postage and allow sufficient time for mailing. Payments shall not be considered to have been made until they are actually received by the Company. Neither the Mustique Company, the owner or its agents will be responsible for bank charges. Deposits can be made by credit card.
Settlement of Accounts
Invoices/bills can be signed and paid weekly or upon departure. Cash, traveller’s cheques, American Express, MasterCard and Visa cards are acceptable means of settling accounts. However, personal cheques are not accepted.
Check-out time is 12 noon
All efforts are made to have villa accommodations available upon arrival on the island. However, immediate availability cannot always be guaranteed but we will do our best to meet your needs.
