Children are very welcome on Mustique
The majority of villa owners are happy to accept children of any age. It should be noted, however, that no villas have been specifically adapted for children and particularly the very young require adult supervision. For example, there are features within many of the villas such as stone steps, ornamental ponds, etc. and none of the swimming pools are fenced.
Cots and highchairs - these are available on request on a complimentary basis.
No other baby equipment is available on Mustique. (car seats, bouncy chairs, buggies, prams etc.)
Baby food, milk, nappies, wipes etc are all available from Corea’s Food Store.
This service is offered at $10 US per hour or $50 US per day (for an eight hour day). Extra hours are charged at $10 US per hour. Sleep-over babysitters can be arranged for $75 US per day/night.
Please note - the ladies who undertake the child minding service are not trained nannies
with qualifications such as in Europe. They receive a certain level of training in St. Vincent
and are known by the Mustique Company to be trustworthy. The employment is arranged
on behalf of the guest by The Mustique Company. We cannot take any responsibility for
the staff member's actions. The employment contract is between the child minder and the
villa guest.
