When we call Mustique a natural playground, we don’t just mean for adults. The rare combination of safety, geographical convenience, and exceptional activities brings families back year after year and often generation after generation.Children of any age are welcome at the Cotton House, at the spa and our four restaurants (all have children’s menus), and at all other facilities. To find those rental villas that are most suitable for very young guests look for the “ideal for families” in the villa collection listing.
The long list of child-friendly attractions starts with our white-sand, calm-wave beaches where palm trees and thatched huts provide ample shade. There is a playground suitable for children aged 3 to 12 behind the Bamboo Church. The Equestrian Center runs a Pony Camp and the Tennis Club holds Junior Clinics on school holidays, and both give instructions to kids as young as three years old. Every Friday night, over Christmas, Easter and summer months, at 6.00pm, child-appropriate films are screened under the stars on the Cotton House lawn and the popcorn is free!
No matter where you’re staying, you can request complimentary cots and high chairs. The island’s food store, Corea’s, sells basic needs like baby food, milk, nappies/diapers and wipes. And, if you’re looking for adult–time, capable babysitters and nannies are available from $US 10 per hour ($US 15 per hour for two children), or $US 75 for an 8-hour day and if they work over 8 hours per day overtime will be applied ($US 85 to $100 to overnight).
