Believing strongly in “giving back,” our community set up the Mustique Charitable Trust in 2008. Financed by donations from the Mustique Company, owners and guests, the Trust assists children, youth and vulnerable adults in St. Vincent and the Grenadines. The Trust aims to listen, suggest, oversee and manage the charitable giving of the Island of Mustique. The Board of Trustees meet a minimum of three times a year to discuss the Grant Programme and to consider providing funding and support for grant requests received. Currently the MCT supports nine projects assisting vulnerable children and young adults.

They also spearhead money raising events to replenish funds used in the Grant Programme. Homeowners, renters and friends of the island of Mustique have given generously to the MCT which funds many needy projects in St. Vincent and the Grenadines. Donations are always welcome as the needs are great.

All donors will be sent a copy of the Trust’s annual report and accounts. The Mustique Charitable Trust is happy to receive donations on a monthly basis as well as one off payments. For US and UK tax payers, donations can be made via the UK Friends of the Mustique Charitable Trust. We also hope to set up The Mustique Charitable Foundation in the USA to promote tax efficient charitable donations.
