Watersports

Mustique is defined as much by the water that surrounds it as the island itself.

Our PADI certified Watersports Shop, run by Brian Richards and his team, offers scuba diving courses for beginners through to Assistant Instructors, plus day and night dives on a variety of exciting dive sites within minutes of the Cotton House jetty. The minimum age for dive certification is 10, but children aged 8 and 9 can experience scuba diving through our safe ‘Bubblemaker’ introductory course. Situated in Endeavour Bay, in the grounds of the Cotton House, the Watersports Shop also has Hobie Cats, Aquafinn sail boats, kayaks, Barracuda pedal rides and snorkelling equipment for rental.

Completely encircled by a marine reserve, its coastline has quiet coves, jutting headlands and wild Atlantic-side beaches perfect for strolling. On its Caribbean side, white-sand beaches are lapped by the gentlest of waves, and the water runs through a color chart of blues from Perrier-clear shallows to dark navy far out beyond the reef.

Excursions
We make full use of this astounding seascape. Upon request, the Activity Desk can arrange sunset cruises, day trips on powerboats or sailing yachts to neighboring islands such as Petit St. Vincent, Canouan, Tobago Cays, Palm, Mayreau and Bequia. Private chartered cruises are also available.

Sport and leisure fishing charters can also be organized through the Activity Desk.
