International Flights
There are direct services daily to Barbados and Saint Lucia from the UK, US, Canada and South America on British Airways, Virgin Atlantic, American Airways, Delta and Caribbean Airways, amongst others. For all enquiries and reservations on scheduled shared charter or private charters please contact: Villa Services: villarentals@mustique.vc
The international flights tend to arrive in Barbados and St Lucia during mid-afternoon. It is important to check times to allow sufficient time for the connection. There are no lights on the runway on Mustique and flights have to leave Barbados or St Lucia latest 16h30 in order to arrive on the island prior to sunset, after which time the airport closes.
On arrival into Barbados, passengers in transit should proceed to the doors marked Connecting Flights’ where you will be met by a Mustique Company representative and escorted to the Grenadine Airways counter to check-in for the onward flight to Mustique. Luggage is collected by the Grenadine Airways handlers and loaded on to the relevant aircraft.
On arrival into St Lucia, passengers in transit should proceed to the Arrival’s Hall where you will be met by a Grenadine Airways representative who will escort you through Immigration to Customs where you will identify your baggage to them for loading onto our aircraft. Depending on the time of arrival you will either be escorted directly to the aircraft or to the In transit area to await your onward flight to Mustique.
Please ensure that your luggage is well labelled. Tying a very bright easily identifiable ribbon makes it easier for the luggage handlers to identify your baggage.
Passengers travelling via private jets can fly into neighbouring islands such as St. Vincent, Canouan, St. Lucia (UVF), Grenada or Barbados. The Mustique Airport cannot accommodate most private jets because the runway is not long enough however we can arrange for private charter transfers from any of these islands.
We recommend that you take a small carry-on bag with sundry items and medications with you. Occasionally airline connections are tight and baggage may be delayed until the next flight to the island. All efforts will be made to get your baggage to you as promptly as possible.
