Mustique

Island Dining

Mustique has a variety of different dining and drinking options located around the island.

While villa guests will enjoy many of their meals in their villa, we encourage everyone to sample the different cuisines on offer.

Choose from long beachside lunches at The Beach Café, picnics on the beach, a delicious meal & dancing at Basil’s, a feast of sophisticated sharing plates and flame grilled mains at the Veranda, as well as sundowners wherever you go and weekly & seasonal culinary events. There is something for everyone.

Veranda

Inspired by the West Indies, the Veranda’s evening menu has been created to take you on a voyage of classic and contemporary dishes using house rubs and delicately spiced marinades.

Diners have a selection of smaller sharing plates or larger main sized dishes to choose from, matched with a tantalising range of flavour-packed sides, all cooked using traditional methods – smoked and grilled over flame.

Whilst our extensive wine list, which won an Award of Excellence from the Wine Spectator in 2013, will keep even the most enthusiastic oenologist happy.

Beach Café

For those seeking something a little less formal the Beach Café situated on Endeavour Bay is a relaxed restaurant and beach bar, perfect for meeting up with friends in the morning and for long leisurely lunches under the shade of the palm trees. A range of light dishes and children’s menu are available throughout the day.

The Beach Bar becomes the social hub of the island for evening cocktails at sundown where islanders gather to exchange daily happenings and plan the next days’ activities.

Basil’s Bar

Basil’s Bar is legendary. For nearly fifty years it has been the cultural heartbeat of Mustique where generations of homeowners, guests, fisherman and pirates come to let their hair down.  Whoever you are, Basil’s welcomes you with open arms for a delicious lunch of tuna tacos or lobster linguine overlooking the sea, a beer at the bar as the sun sets or a cocktail in between dances at Jump Up.
